They have multi colored swirling lights inside, which is kinda funny, but kinda fun.
Miso soup is included. Yay. I love miso soup.
We got pretty basic rolls because we were not particularly hungry, but they were solid - for some reason I felt like the California roll was the best.
The sashimi seemed fresh, but not the most flavorful I've ever had.
Green Tea is only 50 cents!
Surprisingly un busy on a Friday night at 7pm.... -

I live by here so I decided to finally stop by since I had heard from some of my friends that it was good. I came at about 8PM on a Thursday night. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered the salmon maki and the Cabrillo roll and a chirashi bowl.
- Salmon maki: soggy seaweed
- Cabrillo roll: it was just okay, probably the better of the 3.
- Chirashi bowl: dry sushi rice, the fish was okay.
It took about 30 min for the food to come out. It seemed like it was that way for the whole restaurant. The tables were super close together and it was kind of difficult to get in and out. It was super pricey for mediocre food.10/10 would not come again. -

We love this place and found it after trying other sushi places around town and being disappointed. Our son is a student at UCSC and we absolutely have dinner HERE every time we visit, no discussion! The sushi has been *oishii* (delicious) and we have a great time with the fun and friendly staff. School's out for the summer and I'm missing this place and look forward to having dinner here when the quarter begins if not sooner! Btw Lina is my roll of choice. Just about everything here is really good though!

My absolute favorite sushi spot in Santa Cruz and always my go to! I love the atmosphere, usually sit at the sushi bar and the owner is so kind. The Pink Dragon roll is to die for!! Their fish is always fresh and tastes the best, plus they always cater to my simple custom request roll of salmon, avocado and cucumber. After living in town for 2 years and trying a lot of sushi spots this one is for sure the best of them all!!
